I remember a time when Dave and I needed a miracle every month to pay our bills. I had quit my job so I could spend more time preparing for full-time ministry, which cut our income in half.
Many years ago, God gave me a vision of a worldwide ministry. Today, I’m living my dream – more than thirty years later.

I believe that God is more interested in changing us than He is in changing our circumstances.
Everybody has bad days and good days. For many years in my life, I had more bad days than good. I was unhappy and hard to get along with, and I had good excuses (or so I thought) to justify it.
The truth is, the things we say come from something that is formed in our heart. So you can determine where your heart is by listening to yourself.
Complaining is dangerous business. It can damage or even destroy your relationship with God, your relationships with other people, and even with your relationship with yourself.
There are all kinds of trials – sinful attitudes, being mistreated or abused, an accident or health crisis, and on and on.
Why is it so much easier to think about and talk about the things we don’t like – the offenses – than the good things?
Exhort means "to urge a person forward." Everybody needs to be exhorted and encouraged – it makes them feel valuable.
What would you say is our biggest problem? I believe it’s selfishness and self-centeredness –yes, even for Christians!
I think some people don’t pray much because they don’t understand how powerful prayer really is. The truth is, it’s one of the greatest privileges we have as Christians.
I believe we live in a love-starved society. Everywhere you go there are probably people who haven’t had the right kind of love in their lives.
Doing nothing is easy, but it is also very dangerous. Where there is no opposition to evil, it multiplies.
The first way we waste time is through what I call “dead works.”
Trying to impress other people and make them think that you have it all together is not living. Jesus didn’t die for us so we could pretend to be something we’re not.
There has never been a time when we’ve needed to know what we believe and why we believe it more than right now.
I believe that the reason Christians today aren’t impressing the world very much is because we are insisting on living our lives based on our way instead of "The Way."
When you think about the future, are you hopeful? Or do you struggle with a sense of dread when you think about the coming days?
