Matthew Sandusky will reveal to the public for the very first time how his adoptive father, Penn State University coach and convicted felon Jerry Sandusky, sexually abused him throughout his childhood in what could be one of the most explosive and emotionally-charged interviews aired on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
"In his first television interview since the 2012 conviction of Jerry Sandusky on 45 counts of child sexual abuse, Matthew reveals never-before-heard details of the sexual abuse he experienced as a child at the hands of his adopted father, and why he is choosing to speak out now," according to a press release on the special "Oprah Prime" interview.
While Matthew was not one of the 10 male victims included in the criminal case, he was among 26 victims eventually awarded a financial settlement. Penn State University paid Jerry Sandusky's victims a total of $59.7 million due to the credibility of their accounts of abuse. more >>

An 18-month-old Texas girl was allegedly punched in the face and stomped to death before being buried under a bridge in her diaper last Friday by her 17-year-old mother's boyfriend, who called her the "little demon."
In a shocking report by the Star-Telegram, little Tylea Moore's brutalized body was discovered buried under a bridge in Springtown, Texas, wrapped in a blanket. Her mother, Alexis Botello, had initially reported her missing before confessing to police that it was her boyfriend, Joshua Markus Beard, 20, who had killed her daughter, but noted that "he said he didn't mean to do it."
Beard, who was already in jail on an unrelated charge, was charged with capital murder on Monday. Botello, who helped her boyfriend dig her daughter's grave, has not been charged with a crime. more >>

The woman who parked her car on a Montreal-area highway to ensure that a group of ducklings could safely cross the street in 2010 has been found guilty of causing the deaths of a motorcyclist and his passenger daughter. Emma Czornobaj could face life in prison given the charges brought against her in the case.
Andre Roy, 50, was driving his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and had his 16-year-old daughter Jessie as a passenger. Roy was driving an estimated 70 miles per hour in a 60 miles per hour zone. He either did not see or was not able to stop in time and smashed into Czornobaj's parked vehicle. His wife, who was following behind Roy in her car, got out and stayed with her husband, who died at the scene. Jessie was pinned beneath Czornobaj's car; she was rescued but later died at the hospital.
"My feelings are that it is time that we go on," Pauline Volikakis, Roy's wife and Jessie's mother, told the court. "This will not bring back my loved ones. I don't wish misfortune on anyone." more >>
